One of the main reasons why an individual is unsuccessful in their job is the fact that they do not like their work. If you don’t enjoy what you are doing you are much less likely to put as much commitment, effort and enthusiasm into your work as you would if you liked your job. If you agree with any of the following questions, you may need to consider leaving your job and pursuing the world of online marketing and freelancing. It is relatively easy to earn money from internet, but if you don't love doing that, don't.
1. My job is boring, I just wait for the clock to reach 6pm so I can go home but the day seems to last forever.
When you work at home and start earning online, you don’t need to worry about practicing a 9-6 schedule. You pick the hours you work and when you work them. If you need a break, no one will stop you. You are in complete control.
2. I need more flexible working hours to accommodate my family schedules, but my job is too strict.
You decide how much or how little you work. If you need more money, work extra hours. If you need some time off, simply take it when you need it. Flexibility is a key benefit of working for your self.
3. I keep going from one job to another. None of them seem to satisfy me.
Perhaps regular jobs just aren’t for you? There’s nothing quite like being self employed, it’s both invigorating and provides the ultimate workplace freedom.
4. My salary is far too low, I deserve much more than what I’m being paid.
You set the wage you want to earn, set your rates per hour and work out your business plan. Then work to it as much or as little as you like. This means your earnings are almost limitless; all the money just goes directly to you.
5. My boss doesn’t know what he/she is doing; I wish I could be my own boss.
You can, start earning money online today and become your own boss.
6. I hate having to grab holiday’s a year in advance or fight with other co-workers over a day off. I wish I could just go on holiday whenever I needed or wanted to.
As your own boss you don’t need to ask permission to book a holiday. If you need time off, take it off. It’s up to you when you work.
7. I’m much happier when I’m working online on my computer; I wish I could use that to make money!
Making money online is easy and fun with a little time and effort on your part. If your favorite hobby is computers, you’ll have no problems at all making money.
8. My commuting time is ridiculous and costs me a fortune. I wish I didn’t have to travel to work.
You don’t need to go to an office to work online. All you need is a computer and internet access at home and you can eliminate traveling to work altogether. Just roll out of bed in the morning and there you are!
9. I simply can’t do full time work anymore, I need a part time job that’s flexible.
You don’t have to earn money online full time. You choose your hours and how many of them you do. It’s completely your choice.
10. I’m not happy in my job; I want to do something that really makes me enjoy my working day.
Earning money online can help you to achieve job fulfillment. If you put in enough time and effort overall, your online business can provide you with enough regular income to free up your time and allow you to concentrate on more important and more fun activities. Making money online is easy and fun, once you know how.

What Is PageRank and How Do I Use It?
PageRank is what Google uses to determine the importance of a web page. It's one of many factors used to determine which pages appear in search results.
The History of PageRank
PageRank was developed by Google founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin at Stanford. At the time that Page and Brin met, search engines typically linked to pages that had the highest keyword density, which meant people could game the system by repeating the same phrase over and over to attract higher search page results.
PageRank is patented by Stanford, and the name PageRank likely comes from Larry Page.
What Does PageRank Measure?
PageRank measure's a web page's importance.
Page and Brin's theory is that the most important pages on the Internet are the pages with the most links leading to them. PageRank thinks of links as votes, where a page linking to another page is casting a vote.
This makes sense, because people do tend to link to relevant content, and pages with more links to them are usually better resources than pages that nobody links.
PageRank doesn't stop there. It also looks at the importance of the page that contains the link. Pages with higher PageRank have more weight in "voting" with their links than pages with lower PageRank. It also looks at the number of links on the page casting the "vote." Pages with more links have less weight.
This also makes a certain amount of sense. Pages that are important are probably better authorities in leading web surfers to better sources, and pages that have more links are likely to be less discriminating on where they're linking.
How Important Is PageRank?
PageRank is one of many factors that determines where your web page appears in search result ranking, but if all other factors are equal, PageRank can have significant impact on your Google rankings.
Are There Flaws in PageRank?
There are certainly flaws in PageRank. Now that people know the secrets to obtaining a higher PageRank, the data can be manipulated. Google Bombs are a classic example of PageRank manipulation.
"Link farming" is another method people attempt to use manipulate PageRank. Link farming is the practice of linking without thought of the relevance of the pages being linked, and it is often automated. If you've ever run into a web page that was nothing but a collection of random links to other websites, you may have run into a link farm.
Google has adapted their calculations to filter off possible link farms. This is one reason why submitting your website to directories with low or no PageRank may be a bad idea.
If you find your website linked in a link farm, don't panic. In most cases this has no effect at all on your ranking. You can't control who links to you, anyway. Just don't link back to link farms and don't submit your site to them intentionally.
How Can I See PageRank?
PageRank is measured on a scale of one to ten and assigned to individual pages within a website, not the entire website. To find the PageRank of a page, use Google Toolbar. Very few pages have a PageRank of 10, especially as the number of pages on the Internet increases.
How Can I Increase My PageRank?
If you'd like to increase your PageRank, you need to have "back-links," or other people linking to your website. You can trade links with other people, but make sure you only trade relevant links, and make sure you're not trading links with a link farm. You can register your website with directories, such as the Open Directory Project, but use directories with high PageRank whenever possible.
As you build web pages within your website, you can create some of your own back-links by linking to relevant pages within your own website. This is a technique you may notice on this website. However, remember that the number of links you create counts into the equation. Don't overdo it.
The best way to increase your PageRank is to have quality content that other people want to link.

5 Tips To Grow Search Engine Traffic To Your Blog
traffic source for many bloggers. Some blogger friends admit that search engines account for 30 - 60 percent of their entire blog traffic.
It is possible and recommended to diversify and avoid relying your business solely on one traffic source — and company, Google. However, search engine traffic converts and if you can get more of them to your site, and assuming everything is the same, you will increase the sales figures and revenue from ads.
The details about how search engine works may be beyond most of us — in search engines don’t reveal their exact algorithm — but the basic is not rocket science at all.
Here are 5 tips to help you grow search engine traffic
1. Know your keywords
Keywords are the building blocks of a blog and web site. Naturally, you should target just one keyword per blog post. Avoid creating content just for the sake of having the keyword on your blog. You should provide valuable content and impress the visitors. Only then will they consider subscribing to your content feed.
You should be thinking about what the visitors do on your site. Optimizing the result from the same amount of traffic is as important, if not more. But, I digress…
2. Optimize your blog design
You will be surprised that many bloggers claim their blog themes or templates as search engine friendly because the themes were advertised as such. Spend some time to check the template to make sure it has the right title tag, order of content, heading tags and so on.
Your time will be well spent. After all, it is most likely a one-time task. It may make a difference between ranking for long tail keywords and not getting found at all.
3. Restructure your site
Theming with silos is a great way to structure and divide your blog content into subtopics. Many SEO experts represent siloing as simple tiered content. They are quite similar in a few points but nevertheless you should thinking about making your content topics obvious to search engines.
Tiered content without proper linking doesn’t help build topic on your site. For instance, you should only link to a silo (or parent) instead of children cross another silo. Good practice avoids diluting the theme of your site or blog.
That can help rankings because once search engines think your blog is related to certain subtopic, you are going to get more long tail keywords for that subtopic.
4. Gain inbound links
There is more than one way to do it, from article marketing to link baiting, blog commenting, forum marketing and so on. When you are just starting out, every little tactic matters to grow your traffic level to a few hundreds a day.
Your aim is to reach more center of influence. Once you are at this level, every new post will result in a few more backlinks to your blog.
5. Patience
As the age of your domain increases, your blog will also be considered more valuable, especially if you keep it active throughout the time.
Search engine optimization doesn’t produce flood of traffic immediately but it is often worth the effort. Giving up too early in the process is one of the biggest reasons why people fail at this.
Another thing to keep in mind is that traffic from organic search grows gradually. As you target more keywords within your content and gain more authority through backlinks, you will only grow your traffic.
You may be surprised that after several years, I still notice growth in traffic to some of my blogs from search engines. It helps if you aim for the long haul and really drill deep in a niche, because that’s what a real business is.

Import and Export features in Blogger
Last week, popular blogging platform Blogger implemented the new Import and Export features in all of it’s blogs. With these features, you will be able to create copies of your own blogs as well as import them into other existing blogs. Until now the import and export features were available only for the Blogger in Draft users. So, if you are a Blogger.com user, you will definitely find them interesting.
Import/Export features in Blogger
What you can do with these new features? With the import and export features, you can easily perform a number of interesting tasks like merging of two or more blogs into one, moving posts from blog to blog, exporting blog to a different platform and even creating back up copies of a blog. So, the import and export features on Blogger will offer you a whole new range of portability and freedom in managing your content.
Well, currently the import feature only supports importing of Blogger blogs. It means that you can import a blog from WordPress, LiveJournal, Typepad or any other blogging platforms. I am sure that this limitation will upset some of you. Still, you find a reason to rejoice, as you have the export feature that you can use to keep a back up copy of your blog on your hard drive. Regarding importing a blog to WordPress, we already have a cool and powerful import feature in WordPress and I love it
